Seniors Highlight Youngstown State's Win Over Cal (Pa.)
    Youngstown -- Seniors Jordan Dunn and Erin Carter picked up two victories apiece to pace Youngstown State to a 110-80 victory over California University of Pennsylvania on Saturday afternoon at the Beeghly Natatorium.
    Senior Kalyn Leveto also won twice in exhibition diving events as YSU's 10 seniors competed in their final home meet.
    YSU triumphed in seven of the meet's 11 swimming events, including claiming the top spot in the first six events.
    Dunn took the top honors in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:01.45 and the 500 free in 5:21.68 while Carter won the 200 IM in 2:15.22 and the 100 back in 1:02.17. Carter also swam the butterfly leg of the winning 200 medley relay squad.
    Sophomore Becky Bertuzzi was victorious in the 200 free in 2:00.09 while Brittany Senn also picked up a win in the 50 free with a time of 25.33.
    Earning second-place finishes for the Penguins were Erika Gregos in the 1,000 free (11:07.52) and Katy Malys in the 100 free (56.09). Senior Michelle Von Duhn added a third-place finish in the 500 free while Missy Wiese placed third in the 100 free.
    Youngstown State's divers will take on Clarion at the YSU Diving Invitational on Saturday. The swimmers will break until the Horizon League Championship on Feb. 23.
