Leveto Concludes Career At NCAA Zone C Diving Meet
West Lafayette,
Ind. -- Youngstown State senior
diver Kalyn Leveto concluded her
stellar career by competing at the
NCAA Regional Diving Qualifying
Championship hosted by Purdue
University at the Boilermaker
Aquatic Center. On Friday, Leveto
placed 31st in the three-meter
competition while on Saturday, she
finished 32nd in the one-meter
event. She was just one of five
Horizon League divers to take part
in the Zone C meet.
During her career, Leveto was a four-time conference
champion, including a 2005
Championship in the Horizon League
on the one-meter board. She won the
one meter in 2003 and 2005 and the
three meter in 2003 and 2004. The
Warren, Ohio, native was named the
Horizon League Diver of the Year in
2003 and 2004. |
