Reese Earns Second Straight League Diver of the Week Honor

    Indianapolis -- Youngstown State sophomore Kelly Reese has earned Horizon League Diver-of-the-Week accolades for the second consecutive week, the league announced Tuesday evening.
    The Canfield, Ohio, native posted her best scores of the season in exhibition diving competition against Butler on Friday. She scored 245.70 points in the one-meter and 235.95 in the three-meter in YSU's 138-112 win.
    Reese has now been named the Horizon League Diver-of-the-Week four times in her two year career.
    Sophomore Olivia Arnold was also recognized by the Horizon League as a top performer against the Bulldogs. Arnold was one of six Penguins to post individual victories in the meet, and her time of 4:48.79 in the 400 IM ranks her second in YSU history in the event.
    The Penguins compete against Wright State and Cleveland State in Cleveland on Saturday at 1 p.m.
