Program Posts
29th-Best Division I GPA During
Spring Semester
Youngstown -- The
Youngstown State swimming and diving
program posted the 29th-highest
grade-point average among Division I
schools in the spring semester, the
College Swimming Coaches Association
of America announced recently.
Under the direction of Head Coach
Matt Anderson, YSU had a cumulative
3.37 GPA tying it with Illinois and
West Virginia for 29th place. Rice
University posted a nationwide best
3.62 GPA while only seven had
grade-point averages above 3.50.
As a team, YSU had 14
student-athletes post at least a GPA
above 3.0 in the spring. |
