High School: At the Division II State Championship Meet as a senior was 12th in the 100 backstroke...as a junior, placed seventh in the 200 IM and eighth in the 100 back...qualified for state three times...set the school record in the 100 backstroke...also a member of school-record relay teams in the 200 free, 200 medley and 400 freestyle...was team MVP three consecutive years...four-time letterwinner and two-year captain...coach was Andy Fleck...also played soccer...member of the honor roll.
