Men's Tennis
Drops Final Match to Wright
State, 5-2
Youngstown --
The men's tennis team played its
final home match of the season on
Saturday afternoon at the YSU Tennis
Courts against Wright State. The
Raiders won the doubles point and
claimed four wins at singles for the
5-2 victory.
Scott Kathary and Ryan Trapp
won their ninth No. 1 doubles match
of the season by knocking off Nick
Camilleri and Landon Neuman, 8-4.
The duo finished 4-2 in Horizon
League play.
In
singles action, Diego Cerzosimo and
Chris Leson won their matches in
three sets to give YSU two points.
Cerzosimo fell 4-6 in his first
set before coming back 6-1 and 10-8
for the win in the No. 3 spot. Leson
won his first set 6-4, dropped the
second 5-7 and finished strong with
the 10-8 win at No. 5.
