Women's Tennis Out-Dueled by Pitt, 7-0

    Boardman-- The women's tennis team fell 7-0 to the University of Pittsburgh on Wednesday afternoon at the Boardman Tennis Center.

     The Panthers took the early lead by sweeping the doubles competition, 8-2, 8-3, 8-0.

    At singles, Anna Volkova battled with Krista Borza to three sets but fell 6-2, 0-6, 2-6 in the No. 1 spot. Irena Lanc also lost a hard fought match falling 7-5, 7-6 (5) in the No. 4 spot to Christine D'Achille. Pitt claimed the rest of the matches in straight sets

    The Penguins will travel to Pittsburgh next week to face Duquesne at 1 p.m.
