win against IPFW in the Single
Flight A round and claimed 5th place
in the Doubles Flight A competition
with teammate Tom Barth...also
joined Barth to defeat Denison
University 8-4 in No. 1 doubles at
the Toledo Tennis Invitational and
in No. 1 doubles with the match-up against Duquesne.
Spring
2006: Named to the Men's
Tennis Second Team All-Horizon
League....played at No. 1 singles...finished with a 6-6
record...joined teammate Brian Meek at
No. 1 Doubles posting a 7-5
record...earned a 6-1, 6-7(4), 3-0 win against Green Bay in the
first round of the Horizon League Championship.
Fall
2005: Finished the season
with a record of 5-5...earned
victories against St. Francis (Pa.)
and Cleveland State at No. 1
singles...paired with teammate Brian
Meek to finish with a 5-5 record at
No 1 doubles.
Spring 2005: Competed at No. 2
and 3 singles...finished with a 6-5
record...joined teammate Brian Meek
for a 4-7 record at No. 1 and 2
doubles...posted a 6-2, 6-1 victory
at No. 1 singles against IPFW.
Fall 2004: Competed at No. 3 singles...posted a record of
4-0...teamed with Zach Landgraf for a 2-2 record at No. 3 doubles.
High School: Was ranked by the United States Tennis
Association as the 12th-best player
in the Ohio Valley Region and
79th-best player in the
Midwest...was a second-team Division
I All-Ohio selection by the Ohio
Tennis Coaches Association and
advanced to the quarterfinals of the
OHSAA Boys State Tennis
Tournament...earned all-state honors
for Dublin Scioto as a senior and
was named the Ohio Capital
Conference Player of the Year...was
an OCC First Court Champion and was
a first-team all-conference
selection...at the Division I
Central District Boys Tournament he
placed second losing in the
championship match...as a junior,
finished the year with a 24-4 mark
while being named the OCC Player of
the Year, a First Court Champion and
a first-team all-conference
pick...advanced to the quarterfinals
of the Central District Boys
Tournament in 2003 coming one win
shy of advancing to the state
tournament.
