Spring 2009: Completed the season with an overall record of 5-14 at No. 1 and 2 singles...picked up a Horizon League win against Valpo...joined teammate Patrick Hamning at No. 1 and 2 doubles to pick up wins against St. Bonaventure, Niagara University and UW-Oshkosh.

Fall 2008: Finished the season with a team best five wins...played in the qualifying round of singles in the ITA Midwest Regionals and joined teammate Patrick Hamning in the qualifying doubles round...picked up a 6-3, 6-4 win against St. Francis (Pa.) in the No. 2 spot...also played in the St. Bonaventure and Valpo Invitationals earning wins against Detroit, Dayton, Green Bay and St. Francis (Pa.)...teamed up with Steve D'Angelo and Patrick Hamning for a combined record of 3-3 at doubles.

High School: Took second place in the 2006 Central District Boys Tennis Tournament...placed fourth at No. 1 singles at the OCC-Capital Tournament and third place at the sectional at Davidson...also holds the honor of becoming Dublin-Scioto's first two-time state qualifier.

Personal: Parents are David and Carol Kathary...has three brothers (Ben, Reaves and Scott)...older brother Scott played tennis for YSU from 2004-2008...major is finance...born Aug. 29, 1988.
