2008 Spring: Completed the season with an overall record of 4-10 at No. 2 singles...picked up wins against St. Francis (Pa.), Wesleyan University, Northwood University and IPFW...joined teammate Scott Kathary at No. 1 doubles for a team best  record of 10-5...finished the season 5-2 at doubles in  Horizon League play...defeated  league opponents UIC, Butler, Green Bay and Wright State...also defeated UIC for a second time during the second round of the Horizon League tournament ...received Horizon League Athlete of the Week Honors for his three match singles win streak the week of March 11.

2007 Fall: Competed in the St. Bonaventure Men's Tennis Fall Classic at No. 3 singles...joined teammate Scott Kathary at No.

1 doubles for a record of 3-0....also played in the Valparaiso Fall Tennis Classic picking up two wins in the Singles B bracket and two wins at  Doubles A with Kathary...concluded the fall season by competing in the ITA Midwest Regionals at singles and doubles in the qualifier rounds.

2007 Spring: Finished the season with a record of 7-11 at No. 4 and 5 singles...joined brother, Jason, at No. 5 and 6 doubles posting a record of 12-7...picked up singles wins against St. Francis (Pa.), Dayton, Colby-Sawyer, Fairfield, Robert Morris and Horizon League opponent Butler.

2007 Fall: Defeated St. Bonaventure 6-1, 6-3 in singles at the St. Bonaventure Fall Classic...joined brother, Jason, in doubles to defeat Dayton 8-2 in the Toledo Tennis Invitational ( 9/15) and Duquesne 8-4 (9/23)...finished with a team best 5-2 at doubles.

2006 Spring: Played at No. 3, 4 and 5 singles...finished with a record of 3-9....teamed with brother, Jason, at No. 2 doubles posting a 5-7 record...had a 6-4, 6-2 win against Green Bay.

2005 Fall: Finished the season with a record of 5-5...earned victories against St. Francis (Pa.) and Cleveland State...won three out of four rounds of singles at the Cam Am Invitational...joined brother, Jason, for a 2-6 record at No. 2 Doubles.

2005 Spring: Competed at No. 4 singles...finished with a record of 5-5...joined brother, Jason, for a  5-6 record at No. 1 and 2 doubles...posted a 7-5, 6-1 victory against Green Bay.

2004 Fall: Competed at No. 4 singles...posted a record of 4-0...joined brother, Jason, for a 3-1 record at No. 1 doubles.

High School: Was a four-year letterwinner...was a three-time state qualifier in doubles...played at No. 1 singles three years in a row...he was a three-year sections winner in doubles and won districts one year...received All-MAC honors three years in doubles and singles...had a Western ranking as high as 48 and an NEO ranking of one.

Personal: Parents are James and Barbara Trapp...has two brothers...his brother Jason is also a member of the YSU tennis team...major is Exercise Science.
