Spring 2009: Named team MVP...finished the season with an overall record of 15-7 playing at No. 3 and 4 singles...had the most wins at singles for team...picked up Horizon League wins against Wright State, Detroit, Valpo, Green Bay and Milwaukee...also defeated her opponents from Wright State and Cleveland State in the Horizon League Tournament...joined teammates Gretchen Cloern, Lauren Hankle, Irena Lanc, Nicole Haralambopoulos and Anna Volkova for a combined record of  10-12 playing at all three positions...picked up two tournament wins at doubles with teammate Anna Volkova beating Wright State and Butler...received her third letter.

Fall 2008: Completed the season with an overall record of 4-2...won three rounds of singles in Flight match 5 of the IPFW Invitational beating IPFW 6-4, 6-4, Evansville, 4-6, 6-2, 10-7 and Valparaiso 6-2, 6-0...joined teammates Kelly Culbertson and Anna Volkova for an overall record of 3-3 at doubles...won two rounds of doubles with Culbertson in Flight 3 of the Bowling Green Invitational.

Spring 2008: Finished the season with an overall record of 10-15 at No. 2 and 3 singles...tied Kelly Culbertson for the most wins on the team at singles...earned Horizon League wins against Cleveland State, Green Bay, Milwaukee and Valparaiso...also won all three rounds of singles in the Horizon League Tournament against Green Bay, Wright State and Valpo...joined teammates Irena Lanc, Anna Volkova and Culbertson at No. 1 and 2 doubles for a combined record of 8-16...earned her second letter.

Fall 2007: Played in the Bowling Green Invitational in singles Flight 3 finishing fourth place...joined Kelly Culbertson at doubles to finish 7th place...also played in the Toledo Invitational.

Spring 2007: Named team Co-MVP...received Horizon League Athlete of the Week honors for the week of April 2....finished the season with a team best eight wins...picked up wins against Akron, Duquesne, Robert Morris and Dayton...in league play, finished with an overall record of 4-3 with wins against Wright State, UIC, Milwaukee and Green Bay....joined teammates Kelly Culbertson and Irena Lanc to play at No. 2 and 3 doubles...earned her first letter.

Fall 2006: Picked up second place in Flight Match 5 n the Bowling Green Tennis Invitational...won  two rounds of the Martha Thorn Invitational...finished with an overall record of 5-4.

High School: Was a four-time city champion and a two-time state participant at singles...graduated in top 10 of her class and was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Parents are Larry and Gloria Welch...has a sister (Shanika) major is sociology...born Aug. 23, 1988.
