Transfer Robert Emig Joins Men's Tennis Team

   Youngstown -- Head men's tennis coach Eric Ronan announced that Robert Emig will transfer from the University of Mary Washington to play tennis at YSU this fall.
    Emig of Sewickley, Pa. played at No. 1 singles for three years at Ambridge High School. In his senior year, Emig was ranked 6th at states and 30th in middlestates. Release

Men's Tennis Adds Two New Recruits for Fall Season
     Youngstown -- Head men's tennis coach Eric Ronan announced that Patrick Hamning and Michael Kathary have signed letters of intent to join the tennis program this fall. Hamning of Middletown, Ohio played at No. 2 singles his freshman and sophomore years at Lakota East High School before transferring to Middletown High School in his junior year.  Release
Men's Tennis Signs Talented New Recruit for Fall 2008
  Youngstown -- Head men's tennis coach Eric Ronan announced the singing of recruit Steve D'Angelo who will join the tennis program in the fall. D'Angelo was a stand-out player at Wheeling Park High School his freshman and sophomore years before relocating to Mt. Lebanon High School in Pittsburgh, Pa. Release
Women's Tennis Claims 7th Place in HL Tournament with 4-2 Win Over Wright State
      Indianapolis, Ind.-- The Youngstown State women's tennis concluded the spring season by beating the No. 7 seed Wright State, 4-2, on Saturday afternoon in the third round of the Horizon league tournament. YSU finishes seventh in the league out of nine teams. UIC and Butler will play for the league title Sunday at 9:00 a.m. Release | Stats
Women's Tennis Downs Valpo 4-0 in Round Two of HL Tournament
      Indianapolis, Ind.-- The Youngstown State women's tennis team continued Horizon League tournament action on Saturday morning against the No. 9 seed Valparaiso. The Penguins swept the doubles matches and had wins at No. 2, 4 and 5 singles in the 4-0 shutout over the Crusaders. YSU will next face the No. 7 seed Wright State at 4 p.m. Release | Stats
