2005: Saw action in all 11 games as a member of special-team units...one of seven true freshmen to see action...was also a reserve wide receiver, but did not catch a pass...played in the secondary against Indiana State...finished with eight tackles, six of which were on special teams...five of special-teams tackles were on kickoff coverage...had four tackles, including two solo stops against Indiana State...had two tackles against Illinois State...also had stops at Liberty and Southern Illinois...earned his first letter.

Track and Field:
Member of the 2005-06 and 2006-07 men's track and field squad. 2005-06: Competed in the 55-meter dash, 60-meter dash, 200-meter dash, 400-meter dash, Distance Medley Relay and was part of the 4x400-relay team during the indoor season...part of the group that broke the eight-year-old DMR record in February 2006...qualified for the indoor Horizon League meet in the 400-meter dash and ran anchor on the 4x400-relay...finished sixth in the 400 meters...at outdoor HL Championships, was sixth in the 100-meter dash (11.10 seconds) and sixth in the 200-meter dash (22.44 seconds). 2006-07: Competed in the 55-meter dash, 60-meter dash, 200-meter dash, 400-meter dash during the indoor campaign...placed sixth in the 60-meter dash (7.19 seconds) at the Horizon League Indoor Championships...finished eighth in the 200-meter dash (23.20 seconds) at the HL Championships.
