Career Highlights: Was an automatic NCAA Regional qualifier in the hammer in 2008 ... is the school record holder in the hammer and ranks third in school history in the javelin, seventh in the discus and 10th in the shot put ... is one of three throwers in school history - along with Jarrod Davis and current coach Shawn Cobey - to rank in the top 10 in all four events ... also ranks fifth in the weight throw and the indoor shot put ... named Outstanding Field Performer at the 2007 Horizon League Indoor Championships.

2008 Outdoor (Junior): Was the only thrower to score in all four events at the Horizon League Championships ... earned runner-up finishes in the hammer (187-10) and the javelin (168-10), placed fourth in the discus (148-0) and finished sixth in the shot put (46-11 3/4) ... his javelin mark was a personal-best, and his throw in the discus was furthest of the season ... hit the NCAA Regional qualifying mark in the hammer three times during the year ... threw the hammer a personal-best 193-4 at the Sea Ray Relays to finish second ... threw the hammer 190-0 at the Mideast Regional to finish 17th ... improved his top hammer throw by 25 feet from his sophomore year ... earned six top-four finishes in the hammer ... threw the shot put a personal-best 48-4 1/2 at the Sparky Adams Invitational.

2006-07 Indoor (Junior): Named the Field Performer of the Meet at the Horizon League Championship after winning the weight throw and placing fifth in the shot put ... won the weight throw by 3 feet, 5 inches ... his distance of 60-6 was a personal-best mark and moved him into second place on YSU's all-time list ... also ranks fourth in the shot put with his personal-best mark of 50-7 1/2 at the league meet ... won the shot put and finished fourth in the weight throw at the Akron Open ... earned a total of five top-five finishes in the weight throw and three in the shot put.

2006 Outdoor (Sophomore): Finished second in the hammer (166-8), third in the javelin (168-9), sixth in the discus (129-11) and ninth in the shot put (43-10) at the Horizon League Championship ... his mark in the javelin was a season-best ... set season-best marks of 168-10 in the hammer and 150-4 in the discus at the Campbell/Wright Open ... also set a personal-best of 45-8 in the shot put at the Slippery Rock Invitational.

2005-06 Indoor (Sophomore): Placed third in the weight throw (54-6 1/2) and seventh in the shot put (47-3) at the Horizon League Championship ... set a personal-best in the weight throw a week earlier with a mark of 54-7 1/2 at the Kent State Tune-Up ... threw the shot a personal-best distance of 49-7 at the Sykes-Sabock Challenge Cup ... earned six top-10 finishes in the weight throw.

2005 Outdoor (Freshman): Finished second in the discus, third in the javelin and fourth in the hammer at the Horizon League Championship ... posted personal-bests in the discus (139-8) and the javelin (162-0) at the meet ... threw the hammer 147-0 1/4 ... had a personal-best mark of 155-9 in the hammer at the Sparky Adams Invitational to place fifth.

2004-05 Indoor (Freshman): Finished sixth in the weight throw with a personal-best mark of 48-11 1/2 at the Horizon League Championship ... also placed eighth in the shot put at the league meet (43-1 1/2) ... posted a personal-best mark of 43-2 in the shot put at the Western Pa. Championships to place ninth ... also placed fifth in the weight throw at the meet.

High School: Earned three letters and was named team captain once ... set the indoor shot put record (50-1) and the sophomore discus record (153-0) ... helped lead team to Ohio Capital Conference Capital Division Championship ... was a two-time conference champion in shot put and discus ... also competed in football, basketball and baseball ... was inducted to National Honor Society.
