2008 Outdoor (Freshman): Finished as the runner-up in the steeplechase at the Horizon League Championships with a personal-best time of 9:43.43 ... ran two other personal-bests at the league meet, placing 11th in the 1,500m (4:01.54) and 12th in the 5,000m (15:49.15) ... won the first heat of the 5,000m at the league meet ... earned three second-place finishes in the steeplechase.

2007-08 Indoor (Freshman): Finished 13th in the 3,000m at the Horizon League Championships ... ran the 3,000m in a personal-best 9:00.63 at the Roo Town Open ... posted a personal-best 5,000m time of 15:39.53 at the Akron Open ... ran the mile a personal-best 4:28.60 at the Kent State Tune-Up.

2007 XC (Freshman): Scored in five meets and was YSU’s top finisher twice ... placed 17th at the Horizon League Championships with a personal-best 8K time of 26:56.7 ... ran the 10K a personal and team-best 33:33.79 at the Great Lakes Regional ... named the Horizon League Athlete of the Week after leading YSU at the Iona Meet of Champions (27:09.9).

High School: Earned eight letters and was a two-time team captain ... set four school records in cross country and track at Boardman ... left as the all-time top Spartan in the 800m (1:56), 1,600m (4:28), 3,200m (9:50) and the 5K (16:15) ... was a two-time state qualifier and three-time national qualifier.
