Career Highlights: Ranks third in school history in the heptathlon,
eighth in the 55m hurdles, eighth in the high jump, ninth in the 60m hurdles,
and ninth in the pole vault on the indoor chart ... ranks fifth in the outdoor
high jump.
2008 Outdoor (Junior): Redshirted.
2007-08 Indoor (Junior): Finished seventh in the heptathlon (3,370) at the
Horizon League Championships ... cleared a season-best 6-2 in the high jump
twice during the year ... earned three top-five finishes in the high jump ...
was fourth in the 55m hurdles at the Baldwin Wallace Mid February Meet ...
clocked in with a personal-best time of 8.30 in prelims ... ran a personal-best
8.98 in the 60m hurdles at the league meet.
2007 Outdoor (Sophomore): Finished fifth in the high jump at the
Horizon League Championships with a season-best height of 6-1 1/2 ... earned
three top-six finishes in the high jump.
2006-07 Indoor (Sophomore): Posted a season-best high jump mark of 6-0 3/4
at the Zips Open to finish sixth ... earned four top-10 finishes in the high
jump.
2006 Outdoor (Freshman): Was the Horizon League Champion in the high
jump with a personal-best mark of 6-3 1/4...earned four other top-seven finishes
in the high jump, including a fourth-place effort at the Campbell/Wright Open
(6-2 3/4)...posted a personal-best mark of 18-6 1/2 in the long jump at the
Sparky Adams Invitational.
2005-06 Indoor (Freshman): Finished fifth in the heptathlon at the Horizon
League Championship with a score of 3,438 points...also placed fourth in the
high jump (6-0 1/2) at the conference meet...posted a personal-best height of
6-3 1/2 in the high jump during the heptathlon...competed in the first meet, but
did not compete in another until the league championship.
High School: Placed 10th in the high jump
at the 2005 Division I Ohio State Track and Field Championships with a mark of
6-4…earned All-Ohio honors in the indoor high jump with a mark of 6-7, which
ranked 25th nationally according to Dyestat.com...was named team MVP field MVP
twice...was a two-time Toledo City Athletic League Champion.
Personal: Born 11/4/86...son of Jon and
Marilyn Vieth...has one brother (Josh) and one sister (Megan)...major is civil
