Bolt, Cunningham Have Strong Showing at Rhode Island Invite
Kingston, R.I. --
Jeanna Cunningham finished third in
the 200-meter dash and sixth in the
55 while Danielle Bolt finished
second in the 55 and 10th in the 200
at the Rhode Island Invitational on
Saturday.
Bolt's time of 7.19 seconds in the 55 was just one-hundredth
of a second behind her personal-best
in high school and is the fastest
time run in the Horizon League this
season. She ran the 200 in
26.08.
Cunningham ran the 55 in a personal-best 7.28 and the 200 in
25.73.
The Penguins will compete at the All-Ohio Championship on
Feb. 14. |
