Two Sprinters Claim Individual Victories in Season Opener
Kent, Ohio -- Youngstown State sprinters Scott
Streiner and Breanne Romeo both captured victories as the Penguins opened the
2007-08 indoor track and field season at the Golden Flash Gala on Friday and
Saturday.
Streiner, a senior from Poland, Ohio, won the 200m dash with
a time of 22.21 to edge an unattached runner by .01 seconds. Romeo, a freshman

senior also placed eighth in the 60m with a time of 7.10, and his 7.09 in the
preliminary heat ties him for seventh on the record chart.
