Hall Named Horizon League Track
Athlete of the Week
Indianapolis -- Youngstown State freshman Jerrill
Hall was named the Horizon League Men's Track and Field Athlete of the Week, the
league office announced Tuesday.
Hall earned his first two collegiate victories on Friday at
the Baldwin-Wallace Mid-January Meet.
The Maple Heights, Ohio native ran a personal-best time of
7.95 to win the 55-meter hurdles and cleared a personal-best height of 6-4 in
the high jump. His hurdles time ranks third in YSU history, and he ranks fourth
all-time in the high jump.
Hall also has the third-best high jump mark in the Horizon
League this season while his 60-meter hurdles equivalent time ranks fourth.
Hall is the second Penguin freshman to earn weekly accolades
from the League as Breanne Romeo was honored on Dec. 20. |
