Emily Schnitkey Named Horizon League Athlete of the Week
Indianapolis -- Emily Schnitkey of
Youngstown State has been selected
as Horizon League Women’s Outdoor
Track and Field Athlete of the Week
for the period ending May 3, the
league announced.
Schnitkey qualified for the NCAA Regionals and set the school
record in the steeplechase with a
time of 10:44.75 to place 10th at
the Penn Relays on Thursday. The
junior then ran a second-place time
of 4:43.69 in the 1,500-meters at
the Sparky Adams Invitational on
Saturday. |
