Louis “Red” Angelo
- Football (1946-48)
- Inducted
1986
A two-way performer for Head
Coach, Dike Beede, Angelo was a center on offense
and a linebacker on defense, rarely sitting down to
take a breather during a game. Many times in his
career, once he stepped on the field, he didn’t
leave until the final gun had sounded, proving time
and again his versatility and durability for
Youngstown State. He helped the Penguins to a
19-6-2 record during the three-year stay at
Youngstown State. |
