Volleyball: Fraley's 17 Kills Not
Enough in Four-Game Loss to
Cleveland State
Youngstown --
Senior Jessica Fraley recorded her
fourth consecutive and seventh
double-double of the season with 17
kills and 13 digs and laced five
aces but the Youngstown State
volleyball team (6-8, 0-3 Horizon
League) fell to Cleveland State
(9-5, 2-1 Horizon League), 30-22,
17-30, 25-30, 28-30, on Friday
evening at the Beeghly Center.
The Penguins
struck first with a 30-22 win in
game one led by Ruth Boscaljon's six
kills and a.375 team hitting
percentage. Boscaljon finished with
11 kills and five solo blocks.
Cleveland
State, which hit .000 in game one,
finished with three players in
double figures, led by Alexis
Korovich's 17 kills and hit .351 in
game two and .289 in game three to
take a two-game-to one lead.
Junior Karla
Everhart dished out 46 assists.
The Penguins
host Milwaukee, Friday, Sept. 28, at
