Penguins Drop Two on Second Day of Duquesne/RMU Invite
    Pittsburgh, Pa. -- The Youngstown State volleyball team fell to 5-2 after dropping two matches on the second day of the Duquesne/Robert Morris Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The Penguins lost to North Dakota State, 19-30, 27-30, 14-30, and Robert Morris, 25-30, 30-27, 29-31, 25-30.

    Against North Dakota State, senior Jessica Fraley recorded a double-double with 10 kills and 15 digs while tallying three blocks.

    In the Robert Morris match, sophomore Ruth Boscaljon led the Penguins with 20 kills and six blocks while freshman Abigail Drost posted a double-double with 12 kills and 12 digs.

    Junior setter Karla Everhart also recorded a double-double with 42 assists and 14 digs.

    YSU visits Ohio State, Tuesday, Sept. 4, at St. John Arena.
