Grove Leads
Penguins to Three-Set Sweep at Loyola

-- Brittany Grove had a match-high 13 kills,
and the Youngstown State volleyball team
picked up a big Horizon League win over
Loyola - 25-17, 25-20, 25-20 - on Friday.
Ruth Boscaljon added 11 kills, and
Kaitlin O'Hara had nine as YSU moved two
games ahead of the Ramblers in the league
standings. YSU now improves to 5-6 in
conference matches and maintains a tie
for fifth, two wins ahead of the teams in
seventh.
Grove hit .407 as the Penguins outhit the
Ramblers .239 to .109. The Guins had
eight blocks behind five from Boscaljon.
YSU never trailed in the first set and
did not fall behind after taking a 4-3
lead in the second and 12-11 in the
third.
Youngstown State will take on UIC on
Saturday at 3 p.m. Eastern.
