Annual Women's Basketball Golf Outing Set for Aug. 26 at Pine Lakes

    Youngstown -- The annual Youngstown State Women's Basketball Golf Outing will be Wednesday, Aug. 26, at Pine Lakes Golf Course in Hubbard, Ohio. 
    The outing will be a four-person scramble format that begins at 10 a.m. The cost is $300 per group, which includes green fees, riding cart, prizes, breakfast, lunch at the turn and a buffet dinner. Dinner guests are also welcome for $20, and individual golfers can join for $75 and be placed in a foursome.

    Head Coach Cindy Martin, her staff and the Penguins will be in attendance to mingle with golfers and guests. Attendees will see plenty of new faces as the 2009-10 squad will feature eight newcomers.
    Registration begins at 8:45 a.m., and dinner will begin at approximately 3:30 p.m.

    At last year's event, the Co-Ed team of Stephan Casi I, Stephan Casi II, Alexandra Casi and Paul Wackerly won its division and turned in the overall low round with a 14-under par score of 58. A 10-under 62 won the men's division, and a three-under-par score of 70 won the women's title.
