her second season on the Youngstown
State staff is Assistant Coach
Krystal Brooks.
Brooks, a four-year women’s
basketball letterwinner at James
Madison University, comes to
Youngstown State from the Medical
University of South Carolina where
she served as a statistical and
research Analyst.
While at JMU, Brooks was named team
captain her senior season in 2004-05
and averaged 6.0 points and 3.4
rebounds per game and totaled 57
blocks during her career.
Brooks also served as a summer camp
coach at basketball camps at James
Madison and The Citadel.
A native of Brownsville, Pa., Brooks
graduated from James Madison in 2005
with a bachelor’s degree in
sociology and kinesiology with a
minor in human resource development.
