Cross Country Squads Wrap-Up Season at Great Lakes Regional

    West Lafayette, Ind. -- The Youngstown State men's cross country team finished in 23rd, while the women placed 28th at the Great Lakes Regional Championships on Saturday afternoon.

Cross Country Squads Place Sixth and Seventh at League Meet
       Green Bay, Wis. -- The Youngstown State men's cross country team finished sixth and women's placed seventh at the Horizon League Championships on Saturday afternoon.
    Junior Justin Dickman led the men's squad with a time of 26:10 while finishing 16th. One spot behind Dickman was sophomore Jake Lape, who finished 17th with a time of 26:13. Release | Men's Results | Women's Results

Cross Country Finishes Strong in Final Meet Before League Meet

     Bowling Green, Ohio. -- The Youngstown State women's cross country team took fifth place, while the men's squad finished sixth at Bowling Green Falcon Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
    The women's squad beat Horizon League Foes Cleveland State and Detroit at the event, and were led by sophomore Kayla Witmer and junior Lauren Blase. Release | Press Conference Audio 10/28
Blase Named Horizon League Cross Country Athlete of the Week
     Indianapolis, Ind. -- The Horizon League has announced that YSU junior runner Lauren Blase  (Youngstown, Ohio) has been named Cross Country Athlete of the Week.
   Blase finished first among Horizon League competitors at the All-Ohio Championships. Release
Cross Country Squads Finish 22nd at All-Ohio Championships
  Delaware, Ohio -- The Youngstown State men's and women's cross country teams each finished in 22nd place at the All-Ohio Championships at Delaware Golf Club on Friday afternoon.
    For the women junior Lauren Blase led the way finishing with a 5K time of 19:35, good for 51st. Release
