Tisia Leads Men in Cross Country Finale at Great
Lakes Regional

Bloomington, Ind. -- The Youngstown State men's cross
country team wrapped up their season on Saturday afternoon with a 26th place
finish in the Great Lakes Regional Meet held at Indiana University.
The men were led by freshman Kiplangat Tisia, who ran a 10k
time of 34:23.47 to finish in 134th.

-- The Youngstown State cross country teams
showed constant improvement
throughout the season and it
continued on Saturday afternoon as
the women's squad finished in fourth
place, while the men took sixth at
the Horizon League Championships at
Kensington Metro Park.

| Cross Country Set to Compete for League Crown |

The Youngstown State men’s and women’s
cross country teams will travel to Milford, Mich., this Saturday for the Horizon
League Championships held at Kensington Metropark and hosted by Detroit. The
men’s 8K is slated to start at 11 a.m., while the women’s 5K will get under way
noon. Both squads will be coming off a two week rest, as the
teams have not competed since Oct. 17.

| Lauren Blase Runs Personal-Best 6k Time at BGSU Falcon

Bowling Green,
Ohio -- In the final meet before the
Horizon League Championships, senior Lauren Blase ran a personal-best 6k time to lead the
women's cross country squad to a seventh-place finish, while the men's team
finished 10th at the BGSU Falcon Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Blase's 6k time of 22:32 was good for eighth place at the event and
ranks third in school history.

Delaware, Ohio -- The Youngstown State men's and
women's cross country teams continue to show improvement weekly as the men's
team finished in 11th place out of 38 teams, while the women's team claimed 16th
out of 42 teams on Friday afternoon at the All-Ohio Intercollegiate.
