2004-2005 Update:
Having constructed and/or revised assessment
plans during 2003-2004, departments will submit
annual assessment reports (and update departmental
assessment plans periodically, as needed).

During
2003-2004, departments will construct an assessment
plan (which will serve as a basis for assessment
in subsequent years) by submitting two departmental
outcomes-assessment documents. The first--a
form describing learning outcomes for undergraduate
and graduate programs offered by the department--is
due in fall 2003. The second--a fuller assessment
plan--is due in spring 2004.
The following
link leads to an overview and timeline for the
two documents. If at any point you are asked
for a password for any of the files on the assessment
web pages, click "cancel."
By
April 5, 2004, you should complete the spring
assignment (note that the original March deadline
has been extended to the April 5 date). Complete
the form at the first link below; in reviewing
the form, the Assessment Council will complete
the rubric mentioned in the second link below:
