American Humanics Student Association

Preparing Next Generation Nonprofit Leaders since 1948

As you are enrolling for fall semester, please consider the American Humanics Certificate available to any student who is seeking a four-year degree at YSU.

The Certificate prepares you for becoming the next generation of leaders in nonprofit organizations. You can also learn how to be a valuable employee for many organizations with the knowledge that you will gain about nonprofit management and community service. The activities undertaken by the students seeking the certificate will show prospective employers that you are willing to give back to your community through activities both inside and outside of the classroom.

Business 3720, Nonprofit Leadership

One donor can save up to eight lives. Lives like those of the people on the left. Click on the video to see more of their stories.

Right now nearly 3,000 Ohioans are waiting for a life-saving organ transplant. Hundreds more are waiting for healing tissue transplants.

And yet, only about 50% of Ohioans age 16 or older have registered to become an organ and tissue donor at the time of their death.

This is why companies across the Buckeye state are holding “Donate. Save 8. Do It Now!” drives to increase the number of people who are registered as organ and tissue donors.

Add your name to the Ohio Donor Registry right now. And PLEASE encourage someone else to do the same.
