Concrete Canoe
The Concrete Canoe Competition is sponsored by the ASCE and involves a canoe that the students designed and fabricated using lightweight concrete. The Concrete Canoe Competition consisted of a design paper, an oral presentation, canoe overall product, aesthetic judging, races, and an overall winner. The races consist of men and women's 200 meter sprints, men and women's 600 meter slalom/endurance races, and a co-ed 200 meter sprint with four people in the canoe at one time.
