Contractor for a Day |
|
On September 25 a group of YSU students participated in the annual Contractor for a Day event. This year there was a great turnout, about 50 students participated. We started out with breakfast at Panera then our first stop was the Mahoning Valley Waste Water Treatment Plant, second was the Water Treatment Plant, third was Ohio Structures incorporated. |

We will have a speaker next semester. His name is Russ Kamper and he is a PE. He will be giving a presentation on corrugated steel pipes. Two tentative dates are Friday, February 5 and Friday, February 12. Angela will confirm a date with him and let everyone know the chosen date for his visit. |

ASCE Ski Trip |

We are interested in organizing an ASCE ski trip. It will be over a weekend after Christmas break at either Peak and Peak or Holiday Valley. Please let us know if you are interested. We need at least 15 people to get a group discount. |

Steel Bridge & Concrete Canoe |
