Sigma Chi Fraternity

Chapter Update

This past semester has marked a turning point in the Eta Chi chapter at Youngstown. We started out the semester with all the normal
inconveniences, having low attendance, not always having the greatest commitment. We looked at what was happening and decided to
change it. With our recent success in having two brothers earn the title of Homecoming King and Greek God we also have initiated
a wonderful pledge class. The 5 newly initiated brothers have worked very hard during their I-week learning everything they can about
who and what we are. We are all very excited to see what they can do and how they will start their journey through Sigma Chi.

We hope to continue our success into the next semester with our upcoming events and pledge class. In the spring semester we plan
to have our first annual Derby Days. It will be a 3 day competition including any teams or organizations that want to compete. We still
have yet to figure out exact dates but we will be getting them soon. All the money that we raise will be going towards the Huntsman
Cancer Society. We have been successful so far and hope that we can keep that going as we head into the next year.
