YSUnity serves as a safe space for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning students and their allies. It is a safe place for students to discuss their concerns, problems, and fears in relation to our community. It is also a place where students can come together and have fun in an environment where they can feel safe to be themselves. We also strive to better the community with educational events to bust myths and help Youngstown State University be a safer and more sensitive place for the needs of LGBTQ students.
