The Betty
McGehee Scheussler Award is one of the two highest awards presented to an
alumnae chapter. It is a rotating award and was first awarded at the
1974 convention. This award is given to an alumnae chapter that has
given the greatest support to a collegiate chapter and has achieved excellence
in all areas of Fraternity life throughout the biennium.

The Youngstown
Alumnae is a ZTA Foundation major donor. A chapter is recognized
by the ZTA Foundation when a donation
of $300 or more is contributed. In 2006,
the Youngstown Alumnae along with the Zeta Gamma Chapter gave the ZTA Foundation
over $50,000. Proceeds came from the annual Pink
Ribbon Cheer Classic and Zeta Day basket raffle.
The Youngstown
Alumnae Chapter extends congratulations to the Zeta Gamma Chapter, who
received Crown Chapter, are proud
members of the Founder's Club for their $50,000+ donation to the ZTA Foundation,
and are runner-up to the Silver Collegiate Merit Award, the third highest
award presented to a collegiate chapter. It is given to a chapter in
recognition of outstanding and sustained achievement and leadership, within
the chapter and on campus, maintained over a period of years.
