Who Is A ZTA Alumna?
Any initiated member who has graduated from college, completed four
years of membership in a collegiate chapter, or left college prior to graduation.
Alumna (alum-na) refers to one woman, while "alumnae" (pronounced alum-nee,
rhymes with knee), is its plural form. These words counter alumnus,
which relates to the singular male, and alumni, which designates the plural
of a man or a combination of men and women. Any woman who is a Zeta
Tau Alpha alumna and resides near the Youngstown, OH area may join the Youngstown
Alumnae Chapter.
