Emergency Loan Program

 

WHAT IS THE EMERGENCY LOAN PROGRAM?

The Emergency Loan Program, established through the Youngstown State Universty Foundation, is a fund that provides monies to help minority students with unexpected emergencies. Student may apply for up to $200 in emergency aid. There is no processing fee involved. These monies my not be used for tuition. Students apply for this loan must be good academic standing with the University. Loans are made for a maximum of 60 days. I f students fail to repay the loan; the account will be given to a collection agency. If an account is sent to a collection agency, that student is ineligible for any future loan.

 

HOW DO I APPLY FOR AN EMERGENCY LOAN?

If you find you need this aid, you may secure an application from:

Office of Student Diversity

2113 Kilcawley Center

The Director of Student Diversity must approve application for the loan.
