What is the Work Experience Program?

The Work Experience Program is funded by The Youngstown State University Foundation to provide monies to foster student employment opportunities

University departments on campus participate in this program by providing a position and faculty or staff member to mentor student.

WHAT ARE THE GOALS OF THE WORKEXPEREINCE PROGRAM?

The goals of the program are:

  • Encourage student involvement in the University life activities
  • Enhance career development
  • Promote personal growth

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

Students who are:

  • First quarter freshmen
  • Currently enrolled in go academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.3
  • Willing to participate in supportive programs and services offered by the University

HOW DO I APPLY TO THE WORK EXPERIENCE PROGRAM?
