I would like to be the first to welcome you to Youngstown State University's Student Diversity Council website. Diversity is something each and every person has because of the unique experiences and trials that make them who they currently are, and we strive to protect, preserve, and promote all forms of diversity!. Student Diversity Council strives to involve each student, and to give students the opportunity to understand the different diversities that are upon this campus so that ignorance can never be an excuse. Youngstown Ohio is a growing and ever changing community, entrusted with the joy of making tomorrow's leaders right here at Youngstown State, and we hope to ensure training them to become tomorrow's caretakers of diversity, to end discrimination against any and all groups. Our job is not to cater to one race, culture, sex, or skin color, but to strive for a balance that includes instead of excludes everyone and be a model for our nation.
