The YSU website provides extensive information on resources and services of the campus.  Listed below are descriptions and links to the campus services most first-year students use at the beginning of their careers:


Office of Undergraduate Admissions
If you have not already applied for enrollment at Youngstown State University or have enrollment questions/concerns, check out this website.  It will have all the information you need as well as an on-line application.
 


Marion G. Resch Center for Student Progress
This office houses several services for students to use throughout their entire college experience.  These areas include: Adult Learner Services, First-Year Student Services, Individual Intervention Services, Multicultural Student Services, Orientation Services, Student Tutorial Services, Supplemental Instruction Services, and the GOALS Program.


Directions to Campus
Need directions to campus or how to find those classes on campus... check out this link.  It offers several maps and even a virtual tour of the campus.
 


Financial Aid & Scholarships
The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships is your connection to loans, grants, scholarships, and other forms of financial assistance.  The website provides information, documentation, and forms you may need.
 


Office of Housing and Residence Life
This office website has information from how to apply for housing as well as what to bring to campus.  There is a virtual tour, where you can check out rooms and facilities in any of the residence halls.
 


Placement Testing Services
Placement Testing Services conducts all of the course entrance exams for the University.  The site provides testing schedules, useful exam information, and preparatory resources for students.
 


Penguin Connection Student Handbook
This is an important resource that provides information about University policies and procedures, resources to assist you in making a successful college transition, and serves as a valuable connection to all the opportunities on campus.
 


Schedule of Classes, Registration of Classes, & Undergraduate Student Bulletin
These resources are used during the registration and advisement portion of orientation.  You can check out the links at anytime to explore what classes and programs the University has to offer.  Specifically, the Undergraduate Student Bulletin provides additional links to each academic college.
 


Office of Student Life
The Office of Student Life is in the Division of Student Affairs.  This link provides a background of student life and the offices and services under its leadership, including:  Judicial Affairs, Emerging Leaders, Campus Recreation and Intramural Sports, Center for Student Progress, Student Employment, Student Activities, Upward Bound, and Career and Counseling Services.


The Code & Your Right to Know
These two documents provide information on student rules, regulations, and campus safety.  Through these links, you will be able to view the documents and/or print out a hard copy.

The on-line bookstore is another way to shop for course textbooks and YSU emblematic merchandise.
