The Beeghly College of Education

• The Beeghly College of Education is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). Approximately 50% of the 1,128 universities nationwide that offer teacher education programs have NCATE accreditation.

• Education courses are taught by faculty, not graduate assistants, with a student teacher ratio of 15:1.

• Full-time faculty in the BCOE have earned doctoral degrees and 150 years combined experience in schools as teachers, counselors, and administrators.

• All classrooms in the BCOE are technologically enhanced, providing opportunities to integrate cutting edge technology into all phases of the learning process.
