TOTAL MBA hours required: 30-48 semester hours
There are three levels of coursework which the students are required to
complete:
Level I-foundation courses, Level II-advanced courses, and Level
III-electives.
Level I courses are required of students who have
not completed undergraduate business coursework. These courses provide
the basic tools necessary for advanced study in business. At the time
of admission, transcripts are evaluated to determine if foundation course
requirements have been met; if so, waivers may be granted.

Level II advanced courses are required of all MBA
students. These courses provide a broad perspective in all the facets
of business. This includes coverage in managerial accounting, corporate
finance, economics, strategic marketing, research methods, organizational
behavior, quantitative analysis, operations management, business ethics,
and strategic planning.
Level I courses must be satisfied before proceeding to the corresponding
advanced course disciplines in Levels II and III.

*Students who completed undergraduate cost accounting in the last 5
years must take Acct. 6912
6 s.h. of Level II coursework should be competed before proceeding
to Level III electives.
Level III: Elective Courses – 8 semester hours
Students are encouraged to select elective courses which enable them
to pursue in-depth learning in an area of special interest. Students
who wish to experience a more diverse business education may wish to
select elective courses across a variety of disciplines in business,
or with approval, outside of business.
