The Penguin Icebreakers are a student recruitment and ambassador organization for Youngstown State University. Housed at the Office of Undergraduate Admissions in Sweeney Hall, the Penguin Icebreakers conduct campus tours, assist in group visits, speak to high school students on the advantage of a Youngstown State University education. Along with assisting the University, the Icebreakers are also active in the community while participating in philanthropy projects such as Relay for Life, Tod's Children's Hospital, and their annual "100 Mile Walk for Hope" to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
