Mario Cuomo, former three-term New York governor, appears as YSU’s Skeggs lecturer.
YSU English Festival celebrates 25th anniversary with a book of memories and a special dinner. The English Festival attracts at least 3,000 students from middle and high schools in the tri-county area and beyond.

YSU track and field standout Kurt Michaelis is named All-American and finishes ninth in nation in the mile at the NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships.
