Adventure Center Programs

Andrews Adventure Center is providing something beside the norm. We offer a diverse array of programming that varies by activity type, level, length and location. When will you have the opportunity to go backpacking through the Allegheny Mountains? When will you have the opportunity to learn to climb or work on your current climbing ability inside, then go to some great local crags? When have you ever had the chance to go Geocaching to search for hidden “treasure?” Adventure programs have enriched young minds with great experiences that they will never forget. Don't let another fun, challenging and unique experience pass you by. Life is only an adventure if make it one.

Elevated Challenge Course

Come join the Adventure Rec staff and take the dare. The elevated ropes course consists of seven different elements that have their own unique challenge for which to get across. New and exciting and only 17 feet above the gym floor, but you will find it still is a heart throbbing experience. Overcome your fear of heights while safely secured to the overhead tracking system.

The elevated challenge course allows patrons to traverse horizontally across elements while safely secured to the overhead tracking system, therefore allowing each the freedom to choose their path and can pass other participants at any of the six platforms. There are also seven different and exciting challenges to overcome.
