The Institute for Teaching and Learning (ITL) leverages data and best practices to guide innovative, inclusive, and integrative teaching. ITL elevates reflective practice and a focus on student learning towards student success. The Instructional Design and Development Center, which is part of YSU's Department of Cyberlearning provides faculty in the university community with training and support in the design of courses and application of instructional technologies.

Research and Grants Services
Established in 2015, the Office of Research administers the research enterprise at YSU, inclusive of the Office of Research Services, campus-wide research integrity functions, intellectual property and commercialization, undergraduate research, faculty research funds, student travel funds, and graduate research opportunities, as well as the YSU Research Foundation. Training information and workshops include Human Subjects Protection (IRB) Required Training and a Research and Grants Workshop Calendar.

Wellness (Living Well Program)
Living Well offers health promotion programs and education to address and support at risk populations in their pursuit of healthier lives, while at the same time assisting the low risk population to maintain health. Any benefit eligible employee is able to participate in wellness programs.
