FEDERAL FRENZY 2018 Call for Artists Application

Youngstown State University Penguin Productions is proud to announce the fourth annual FEDERAL FRENZY in downtown Youngstown on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Federal Frenzy is a music and arts festival presented in collaboration with the City of Youngstown and The Summit FM in celebration of the many talents of Youngstown State and the greater Youngstown community. Between 2:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. West Federal Street hosts activities, live art, vendors, and outdoor performances by regional and national acts, while downtown venues feature various forms of art and live musical performances from Youngstown State students, faculty, and staff.

Federal Frenzy seeks to highlight not only the musical abilities of our community, but the artistic abilities as well. If you would like your work to be on display, there are two ways you can go about doing so: Bring your supplies and creativity to the streets of Youngstown and create a masterpiece on site; or if you have a piece you would like to have on display, Penguin Productions is coordinating an art gallery in one of our downtown venues. From sculptures to films to urban poetry, all forms of art will be considered for inclusion in the event. If you are an artist desiring to put your artistic abilities on display, fill out the application below!
